I’ve served clients of various ages and backgrounds, providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. My previous work experience has included art and music therapy with children in grief, cognitive and behavioral work with adolescents living in foster-care, and movement therapy with adults suffering from Parkinson’s disease. I completed my internship at People House in Denver where I provided sliding-scale therapy to adults seeking meaning and grounding in the midst of major life transitions including chronic illness and disability, job loss, being cut off from family, relationship endings as well as those tending to the grief and loss brought about by the sudden death of family members.

This past year I worked as a clinician in community mental health with clients navigating the criminal justice system, facilitating groups and collaborating with those individuals to feel a greater sense of wholeness, connection and community in their lives. Many of my clients are HSP’s (Highly Sensitive People) and those who have suffered from personal trauma, generational trauma and oppression, both within their family-of-origin and systemically as marginalized identities. I have served clients suffering from mood complexities as well as anxiety and depression.

I am social justice based and believe that accessing mental health should not be cost prohibitive, which is why I am an Open Path provider for qualifying clients needing more affordable sliding-scale options. I offer a free virtual consultation to help potential clients determine whether or not they feel that we’d be a good fit.

I’m also a musician, a father, a husband, and an avid reader. I love being in nature, exploring immersive art installations, and experiencing live music in my home city of Denver, CO.
